Spring Wedding Flowers

My Wedding Bouquet

My Wedding Bouquet

Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! This week I'm excited to share my inspiration for my wedding flowers with you. As mentioned in a previous post, my wedding colors are purple, green and grey.  I wanted to incorporate the purple and green colors in the flowers for my spring wedding in Paris.

First, I turned to Pinterest to get ideas and inspiration for the flowers.  It was overwhelming at first, but I was able to find some bouquets that I really liked (see my Pinterest board for more pictures of purple and green flowers that I used for inspiration).

Next, we hired a wonderful florist to help bring all of my ideas to reality. Her name is Estelle Preston of Estelle Preston Flowers and is based in Paris. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and she was able to transform all my ideas and inspiration into wonderful bouquets for my bridesmaids and I as well as the ceremony and reception decor. She used a lovely combination of dark purple lysianthus, deep purple freesia and lime green hypericum for my bridesmaid bouquets and mauve roses, lilac roses, and green viburnum for my bouquet.
