5 Great Places to Photograph St. Paul, Minnesota

Do you live in St. Paul, Minnesota or visiting and wonder where are the best places to photograph the city? Come along with me on a wonderful photography adventure of St. Paul as I share with you my favorite places to take pictures of this photogenic city.

1. Prospect Park

Prospect Parks sits above the Mississippi River and is a wonderful place to photograph The Cathedral of St. Paul and the city of St. Paul. This location provides spectacular views at sunset.

2. Indian Mounds Park

 Just east of downtown St. Paul in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood lies Indian Mounds Park. This park arguably has some of the best views of downtown St. Paul and sunsets over the Mississippi river from its vantage point.

3. Harriet Island

Along side the St. Paul side of the Mississippi River is Harriet Island. This location provides great river views of downtown St. Paul and access to walk along the Mississippi River.

4. Como Park Zoo and Conservatory

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory are located in the Como Park neighborhood of St. Paul. The park is a great place to explore and photograph the architecture of the Conservatory building and the spectacular gardens inside.

5. Smith High Bridge

The view from the Smith High Bridge is one of the best I have seen! It offers spectacular views of the St. Paul Cathedral as well as downtown St. Paul.  It is a must see if you live in or are visiting the Twin Cities.
